Sean Callegari tossed a shutout to lift the Swift Current Indians (2-0) to a 5-0 win over the Weyburn Beavers at Mitchell Field.

Callegari held the Weyburn Beavers (0-2) scoreless during his nine innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on two hits while ringing up four.

Liam Goodall was hot from the plate for the Swift Current Indians. Goodall went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the second and eighth innings.

Matthew Kinney handled the Swift Current Indians' lineup with ease, racking up four strikeouts. The Weyburn Beavers' pitcher tossed four innings of shutout ball and allowed only four hits.

Riley Schaaf ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
