Story by Narrative Science.

The Okotoks Dawgs (1-2) and the Lethbridge Bulls (2-1) both had scoring chances on Sunday, but it was the Okotoks Dawgs that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 3-2 win at Seaman Stadium.

The fact that the Okotoks Dawgs grouped all of their runs into the sixth inning helped them take advantage of their hits.

Mark Riendeau paced the Okotoks Dawgs at the plate. Riendeau went 3-4 and drove in one. He singled in the first, fourth, and eighth innings.

Conor Lillis-White's 10 strikeouts helped the Okotoks Dawgs to the victory. Lillis-White allowed no earned runs on nine hits and one walk over seven innings.

Bretton Gouthro did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Lethbridge Bulls, reaching base three times. He singled in the sixth innings.

Mac Major (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked none, struck out five, and allowed three runs.
