Travis Steinke collected three hits as the Lethbridge Bulls (1-0) took home a 5-1 victory over the Okotoks Dawgs (0-1) at Spitz Stadium on Friday.

He homered in the sixth inning and singled in the fourth and eighth innings.

Alex Regan's eight strikeouts were enough to push the Lethbridge Bulls past the Okotoks Dawgs. Regan allowed one earned run on seven hits and two walks over nine innings.

Tyrell King (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
