The Melville Millionaires make the most of 9 hits in 3-2 victory over the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets

Both the Melville Millionaires (15-27) and the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets (18-24) put runners aboard on Friday, but it was the Melville Millionaires that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 3-2 win at Pirie Field.

Zach Holley put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Melville Millionaires. He homered in the first inning and doubled in the third inning.

Bryan Heward had two extra-base hits for the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets. He tripled in the second inning and doubled in the fifth inning.

Curtis Johnson recorded his fourth win of the year for the Melville Millionaires. He allowed two runs over 5 2/3 innings. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered 10 hits.

Ross Mortenson (2-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.

The Melville Millionaires were sparked by Holley and Tanner Houston, who teamed up for four hits and three RBIs.
