Zach Borsa hopes every outing could go as well as Thursday, as Borsa pitched eight shutout innings to carry the Palm Beach Blazers (19-12) to a 1-0 victory over the West Palm Beach Eagles (20-9) at Forrest Hill H.S.

A walk-off single by Robert Pettet gave the Palm Beach Blazers the win.

Pettet did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Palm Beach Blazers, reaching base two times. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the ninth inning.

Ryan Milner improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Palm Beach Blazers. Milner struck out none, walked none and gave up no hits.

Dominic Teresi ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed one run.
