An impressive effort by Hansel Lazo spurred the South Florida Huskies (15-6) to a 7-2 win over the Palm Beach Xtreme (12-21) on Friday at Coral Springs High School.

Lazo kept the Palm Beach Xtreme off the board during his seven innings of work. Lazo allowed three hits, no walks and struck out seven.

Kyle Cunningham paced the South Florida Huskies at the plate. Cunningham went 2-2, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second inning.

Dillon Jayne boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace the Palm Beach Xtreme. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the sixth and eighth innings.

Chris England (1-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked none and struck out one.
