The Ontario (1-0) rolled over the Nova Scotia (0-1) 17-2 on Thursday at Stade Arvida after a 13-run rally in the third inning.

The Ontario scored in the third on a two-run double by Jessica Jeffrey, an error, a three-run triple by Jenna Hillman, a groundout by Stephanie Ellis, an error, , an RBI single by Tess Forman, an RBI single by Lindsay Wilcox, , and an RBI single by Ellis.

Hillman racked up six RBIs on two hits for the Ontario.

Forman improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Ontario. He allowed two runs over 3 2/3 innings. Forman struck out three, walked one and gave up four hits.

Cady Miles (0-1) took the loss for the Nova Scotia. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
