The Saskatoon Yellow Jackets take out the Yorkton Cardinals with help from Lloyd, 4-2

Connor Lloyd went 1-2, sparking the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets (10-14) to a 4-2 victory in seven innings over the Yorkton Cardinals (9-13) on Wednesday at Jubilee Park.

He singled in the seventh inning.

Steven Latos's five strikeouts helped the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets to the victory. Latos allowed two earned runs on four hits and three walks over six innings.

Codi Scanlon was effective even in defeat, mowing down six the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets batters and allowing three runs.

Scanlon couldn't get it done on the hill for the Yorkton Cardinals, taking a loss.
