The Florida Pokers (2-6) didn't have a chance on Saturday, as the Pompano Beach Clippers (4-5) won in blowout fashion, 16-6.

The Pompano Beach Clippers scored five runs in the eighth on the Pompano Beach Clippers scored in the eighth on an RBI single by Max Balter, , , an RBI double by Mark Hernandez, and a sacrifice fly by Josh Canabal.

Canabal racked up four RBIs on one hit for the Pompano Beach Clippers.

The Florida Pokers had no answer for Nate Mcmaster, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Florida Pokers managed just one hit off of the the Pompano Beach Clippers' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out five during his four innings of work.

Franco Guardiscone was solid at the plate for the Florida Pokers. Guardiscone went 3-4 and drove in one. He tripled in the first inning and singled in the third and eighth innings.

Alex Hernandez got his first win for the Pompano Beach Clippers despite allowing six runs over five innings. Hernandez struck out five, walked three and gave up seven hits.

Miguel Castellanos (0-2) took the loss for the Florida Pokers. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked nine and struck out six.
