Lorenzo Wright went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the Pineville Pioneers. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the second and fourth innings.
Dallas Connor put together a nice outing. The Carolina Vipers managed just two hits off of Connor, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out six during his four innings of work.
Chris Sheehan got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He allowed three runs over three innings. Sheehan struck out two, walked three and gave up three hits.
