Travis Steinke went 1-3 and hit a home run as the Lethbridge Bulls (16-8) took home a 7-5 victory over the Medicine Hat Mavericks (15-10) at Spitz Stadium on Thursday.

Bryan Arthur racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Medicine Hat Mavericks. He homered in the fifth inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Mac Major improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Lethbridge Bulls. He allowed four runs over 5 2/3 innings. He struck out two, walked two and surrendered five hits.

Jared Welander was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
