The Saskatoon Yellow Jackets (3-4) failed to take advantage of Bryan Heward's effort at the plate on Sunday, losing 8-6 to the Medicine Hat Mavericks (6-1) at Cairns Field, Saskatoon SK.

Heward blasted two home runs for the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets. Heward went 4-5 in the game with two RBIs and three runs scored. Heward homered in the second and eighth innings.

Dylan Hendricks (1-1) took the loss for the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked four, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
