An outstanding effort by Jake Enterlin carried the Baltimore Dodgers (4-15) to a 3-2 win in 12 innings over the D.C. Grays (8-12) on Saturday at Washington Nationals Academy.
Enterlin baffled the D.C. Grays, striking out eight batters. Enterlin allowed one earned run, three hits and two walks over eight innings.
Trejon Smith reached base four times. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the first, sixth, and tenth innings.
Trae Sweeting did his best to jumpstart the offense for the D.C. Grays, reaching base four times. He singled in the sixth inning.
Derrick Sylve recorded his second win of the year for the Baltimore Dodgers. Sylve struck out three, walked seven and gave up one hit.
Sam Delaplane (0-1) took the loss for the D.C. Grays. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed one run.
