The Hays (KS) Larks (3-0) and the Santa Barbara (CA) Foresters (2-1) each put runners in scoring position on Tuesday, but the Hays (KS) Larks capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 9-7 win at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium.

Derek Birginske racked up four RBIs on one hit for the Hays (KS) Larks. He homered in the fifth inning.
