Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Saturday as the Arvada (CO) Colts (1-0) outscored the Valley Center (KS) D Dawgs (0-1) 12-8.

Paul Lujan got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed one run over 1 1/3 innings. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered three hits.

Lucas Schauer was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just zero innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
