He doubled in the third inning and singled in the eighth inning.The Santa Barbara (CA) Foresters got the win thanks in large part to Jon Duplantier's dominant, nine-strikeout performance. Duplantier allowed one earned run on four hits and two walks over seven innings.
Robert Prieto paced the Sedalia (MO) Bombers at the plate. Prieto went 3-4 and drove in one. He singled in the fourth, sixth, and eighth innings.
Winston Lavendier (1-1) took the loss for the Sedalia (MO) Bombers. He lasted just eight innings, walked one, struck out six, and allowed five runs.
