The Boulder (CO) Collegians (2-1) and the Wichita (KS) Sluggers (1-2) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Boulder (CO) Collegians that eventually took advantage of them in an 8-5 win at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium.

Drew Rosbottom racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Boulder (CO) Collegians. He singled in the fourth, sixth, and seventh innings.

Taylor Sanagorski got a hit in each of his four at bats. He singled in the first, fifth, and sixth innings and doubled in the eighth inning.

Tyler Patty improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Boulder (CO) Collegians. He allowed one run over two innings. Patty struck out two, walked two and gave up three hits.

Alex Ruxlow couldn't get it done on the bump for the Wichita (KS) Sluggers, taking a loss. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
