A great effort by Drew Milligan spurred the Derby (KS) Twins (2-0) to a 3-1 win over the Boulder (CO) Collegians on Sunday at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium.

Milligan's seven strikeouts helped the Derby (KS) Twins to the victory. Milligan allowed no earned runs on four hits and two walks over eight innings.

The Derby (KS) Twins were led by Juan Rivera's hitting. Rivera went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the third, fifth, and ninth innings.

Kevin Flores couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Boulder (CO) Collegians (1-1), taking a loss. He lasted just seven innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed two runs.
