Ryan Perez went 1-2, sparking the SoCal (CA) Outlaws (1-1) to a 3-1 victory over the Plaza Tire (MO) Capahas (0-2) on Sunday at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium.

Ricky Schafer had an impressive outing against the Plaza Tire (MO) Capahas' lineup. The Plaza Tire (MO) Capahas managed just one hit off of the the SoCal (CA) Outlaws' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his three innings of work.

Riley Calvird baffled the SoCal (CA) Outlaws, striking out three batters. The Plaza Tire (MO) Capahas' pitcher gave up just four hits over four shutout innings.

Javier Alvarez improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the SoCal (CA) Outlaws. He allowed one run over six innings. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered six hits.

Tyler Borski ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked six, struck out five, and allowed three runs.
