The Austin (TX) Shockers (1-0) blew out the SoCal (CA) Outlaws (0-1) 12-1 on Saturday at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium after pouring on eight runs in the second inning.

The Austin (TX) Shockers scored in the second on an RBI single by Wilder Fajardo, an RBI single by Nick Canas, an RBI double by Evan Ruiz, an error, , a three-run double by Fajardo, and a three-run double by Fajardo.

Dustin Beasley racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Austin (TX) Shockers. He singled in the first inning and homered in the third inning.

The SoCal (CA) Outlaws had no answer for Cameron Cox, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The SoCal (CA) Outlaws managed just three hits off of Cox, who allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out three during his five innings of work.

Jake Angus (0-1) took the loss for the SoCal (CA) Outlaws. He allowed 12 runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked six and struck out two.
