The Jasper (IN) Reds fall 12-5 at the hands of the Derby (KS) Twins

The Derby (KS) Twins (1-0) pounded the Jasper (IN) Reds (0-1) on Friday 12-5 at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium.

The Derby (KS) Twins scored five runs in the sixth on the Derby (KS) Twins scored in the sixth on a sacrifice fly by Tyler Eager, a solo home run by Dylan Dillard, an error, and a single by Jacob Swiney.

Dillard racked up five RBIs on three hits for the Derby (KS) Twins.

Gus Strunk put together a nice outing. Strunk held the Jasper (IN) Reds hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Trevor Kimm did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Jasper (IN) Reds, reaching base three times. He singled in the second innings and tripled in the fourth inning.

Sean Laughlin improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Derby (KS) Twins. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered two hits.

Jake Eberling couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Jasper (IN) Reds, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked two and struck out one.
