Blake Bonnin went 2-3, sparking the Boca Raton Lightning (14-12) to a 4-1 victory over the Coral Springs Canes (2-13) on Tuesday at Coral Glades Sportsplex.

The Coral Springs Canes had no answer for Robbie Osterer, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Osterer gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his two innings of work.

James Long improved to 2-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Boca Raton Lightning. Long struck out three, walked none and gave up five hits.

Alan Carey (0-3) took the loss for the Coral Springs Canes. He lasted just eight innings, walked one, struck out seven, and allowed four runs.
