Kendall Hughes picked up the win for the Carolina Vipers. Hughes pitched 6 2/3 innings and allowed one earned run, six hits and two walks while striking out one.

Justin Pace ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
