Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Sunday as the Raton Osos (8-11) outscored the Roswell Invaders (16-6) 14-9.
The teams totaled 25 hits in the game.
Mitch Warne had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the second and fourth innings and singled in the sixth and ninth innings.
The Roswell Invaders couldn't get anything going so long as Perretta was on the hill. Perretta held the Roswell Invaders hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four.
Dimitri Papantonopoulos racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Roswell Invaders. He singled in the first and second innings and tripled in the sixth inning.
Nick Hernandez (1-1) took the loss for the Roswell Invaders. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out seven, and allowed four runs.
The Raton Osos' Chris Williams, Warne, Cie Arell and Spiker Helm combined for nine hits and eight RBIs.
