The Roswell Invaders (38-27) beat the Taos Blizzard (22-41) 7-4 on Monday at Taos Tundra behind Jeff Eubank, who had two extra base hits.
He homered in the second inning, tripled in the sixth inning, and singled in the eighth inning.Chris Dunn got the win for the Roswell Invaders thanks to nine strikeouts. Dunn allowed one earned run, five hits and three walks over seven innings.
The Taos Blizzard were led by Mike Lange's hitting. Lange went 2-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the sixth inning and homered in the eighth inning.
Richie Anderson ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fifth loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
