Blake Martinez went 2-4, sparking the South Florida Huskies (10-2) to a 7-5 victory over the Florida Barons (3-10) on Tuesday at Tamiami Park.

Despite the loss, the Florida Barons' Anthony Mazzurco dominated the South Florida Huskies' batters, giving up one run and striking out seven.

Carlos Garmendia put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Florida Barons. He tripled in the first innings and doubled in the seventh inning.

Cole Bumbales recorded his second win of the year for the South Florida Huskies. He allowed one run over two-thirds of an inning. Bumbales struck out none, walked one and gave up two hits.

Alex Diaz (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
