Dillon Popvich went 2-3 and hit a home run, helping the South Florida Huskies (4-0) to a 3-2 victory over the Palm Beach Xtreme (0-3) on Thursday at Coral Springs High School.

The Palm Beach Xtreme had no answer for Ben Fienman, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Palm Beach Xtreme managed just three hits off of the the South Florida Huskies' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four during his five innings of work.

Kyle Schuyler pitched lights out for the Palm Beach Xtreme. The South Florida Huskies managed just one hit off of Schuyler, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.
