Jackson's big day not enough as the Palm Beach Xtreme fall to the Palm Beach Blazers, 9-8

Jordan Jackson hit two home runs, but it wasn't enough to carry the Palm Beach Xtreme (12-22) to a win on Monday, as the Palm Beach Xtreme fell to the Palm Beach Blazers (18-10) 9-8 at Miller Park.

Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 17 total runs and 22 hits during the game. There were seven pitchers used in the game as the two managers searched for any way to finish it off.

Ryan Clark racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Palm Beach Blazers. He singled in the third and sixth innings.

Jason Holcomb improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Palm Beach Blazers. Holcomb struck out two, walked none and gave up one hit.

Kyle Schuyler couldn't get it done on the mound for the Palm Beach Xtreme, taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
