The Palm Beach Blazers (12-6) and the Boca Raton Lightning (7-10) each put runners in scoring position on Friday, but the Palm Beach Blazers capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 4-3 win at Miller Park.

Robert Pettet was solid at the plate for the Palm Beach Blazers. Pettet went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first and fifth innings.

Luke Rodino picked up the win for the Palm Beach Blazers. Rodino pitched eight innings and allowed one earned run, seven hits and one walk while striking out four.

Marcus Crescentini was effective even in defeat, mowing down five the Palm Beach Blazers batters and allowing zero runs.
