Gabriel Aurrecoechea collected four hits as the Florida Barons (1-2) took home a 9-4 victory over the Pompano Beach Clippers (1-1) at Cypress Park C S on Wednesday.

The Florida Barons relied on Ryan Guerra to eat up innings en route to the win. Guerra allowed one earned run, four hits and three walks while striking out four over six innings of work.

Zachary Westcott couldn't get it done on the hill for the Pompano Beach Clippers, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out seven, and allowed three runs.
