Stephan Barnett was cold coming off the bench, but Barnett warmed up quickly as Barnett stroked a key pinch-hit single in the seven to lead the Palm Beach Xtreme (5-10) to a 9-5 win over the Florida Pokers (2-8) on Wednesday at Spanish River High School.

With the score tied at four, Barnett came to the plate and singled.

Antonio Damiano got on base two times in the game for the Florida Pokers. He doubled in the first inning.

Kyle Schuyler got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He allowed one run over 2 1/3 innings. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered two hits.

Tristan McGinnis (0-1) took the loss for the Florida Pokers. He lasted just one inning, walked four, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
