Crawford's three-run home run gives the West Palm Beach Eagles walk-off win over the Boca Raton Lightning, 15-13

A walk-off three-run blast from Brandon Crawford brought home the winning run for the West Palm Beach Eagles (16-5) in a 15-13 victory over the Boca Raton Lightning (7-10) in 12 innings at Forrest Hill H.S. on Friday.

Crawford racked up six RBIs on six hits for the West Palm Beach Eagles. He doubled in the third, fifth, and eighth innings, singled in the seventh and eleventh innings, and homered in the twelfth inning.

Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 28 total runs and 37 hits during the game. Managers of the two teams seemingly emptied their bullpens in search of the win, as there were 12 pitchers used in the game.

Riley Hodge recorded his third win of the year for the West Palm Beach Eagles. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Erik Bauer was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.

The West Palm Beach Eagles easily handled the Boca Raton Lightning pitching as six hitters combined for 16 hits, 12 RBIs and 11 runs scored.
