The Palm Beach Blazers make the most of 14 hits in 10-6 victory over the Boca Raton Lightning

Both the Palm Beach Blazers (2-0) and the Boca Raton Lightning (1-2) put runners aboard on Thursday, but it was the Palm Beach Blazers that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 10-6 win at Miller Park.

Devin Del Priore racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Palm Beach Blazers. He singled in the third inning and homered in the ninth innings.

Paul Menendez got a hit in each of his three at bats. He singled in the second and fourth innings and doubled in the sixth inning.

The Palm Beach Blazers' lineup had no answer for Austin Edwards. Edwards held the Palm Beach Blazers hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two.

Tony Dimaio improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Palm Beach Blazers. He allowed one run over five innings. He struck out one, walked four and surrendered eight hits.

James Long was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked none, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
