Both the Pompano Beach Clippers (8-5) and the Palm Beach Xtreme (7-14) put runners aboard on Thursday, but it was the Pompano Beach Clippers that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 6-4 win at Spanish River High School.

The Palm Beach Xtreme's lineup had no answer for Adam Ogburn. The Palm Beach Xtreme managed just one hit off of the the Pompano Beach Clippers' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his four innings of work.

Robert Guarnieri (1-2) took the loss for the Palm Beach Xtreme. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
