Grant DeBruin knocked in three runs as the Joliet Slammers (34-53) took home a 5-0 victory over the Windy City ThunderBolts (31-56) in seven innings at Standard Bank Stadium on Sunday.

The Windy City ThunderBolts had no answer for Andrew Busby, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Busby gave up just four hits, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his five innings of work.

Jake Fisher couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Windy City ThunderBolts, taking a loss. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
