Jovan Rosa collected three hits, sparking the Traverse City Beach Bums (25-41) to a 7-3 victory over the Schaumburg Boomers (39-27) on Friday at Wuerfel Park.

Alex Phillips picked up the win for the Traverse City Beach Bums. Phillips pitched eight innings and allowed three earned runs, four hits and three walks while striking out four.

Tony Delmonico racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Schaumburg Boomers. He singled in the second inning and homered in the fourth inning.

Heith Hatfield pitched lights out for the Schaumburg Boomers. Hatfield held the Traverse City Beach Bums hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two.

Hunter Ackerman ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in six innings, walked two and struck out four.
