The Schaumburg Boomers (13-12) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 4-2 to the Windy City ThunderBolts (11-13) on Friday.

While the Schaumburg Boomers led until the sixth inning, the Windy City ThunderBolts worked their way back and took the lead on an RBI single by Jon Mestas.

Kyle Robinson got on base three times in the game for the Windy City ThunderBolts. He scored one run and had one RBI. He doubled in the sixth inning.

Travis Tingle racked up six strikeouts in the the Windy City ThunderBolts win. Tingle allowed one earned run, seven hits and no walks over 6 2/3 innings.

Cal Bowling (3-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
