Tyler Sciacca collected three hits, helping the Schaumburg Boomers (13-11) to a 4-3 victory over the Washington Wild Things (16-8) on Thursday at CONSOL Energy Park.

He doubled in the third inning and singled in the first and fourth innings.

The Washington Wild Things couldn't get anything going as long as Clark Labitan was pitching. Labitan held the Washington Wild Things hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

James Bierlein improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Schaumburg Boomers. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Jonathan Kountis couldn't get it done on the hill for the Washington Wild Things, taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
