The Melville Millionaires outdone by Drummonds and the Yorkton Cardinals, 7-6

Austin Drummonds went 2-4, sparking the Yorkton Cardinals (19-27) to a 7-6 victory over the Melville Millionaires (15-31) on Wednesday at Jubilee Park.

He singled in the first inning and doubled in the seventh inning.

Tyler Enns put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Melville Millionaires. He singled in the second inning, homered in the third inning, and doubled in the eighth inning.

John Weiss had an impressive outing against the Yorkton Cardinals' lineup. The Yorkton Cardinals managed just three hits off of the the Melville Millionaires' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his three innings of work.

Aaron Dick improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Yorkton Cardinals. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Tres Tyler (1-7) took the loss for the Melville Millionaires. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
