The Saskatoon Yellow Jackets fall to the Edmonton Prospects 9-6

The Saskatoon Yellow Jackets (20-26) lost despite Jake Moore's spectacular day from both the mound and the plate.

Moore racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets. He tripled in the seventh inning and singled in the third and ninth innings.

Moore pitched lights out for the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets. Moore held the Edmonton Prospects (17-29) hitless over two-thirds of an inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Gray Symington was hot from the plate for the Edmonton Prospects. Symington went 3-5, drove in one and scored three runs. He singled in the second, fourth, and seventh innings.

Zak Horton improved to 4-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Edmonton Prospects. He allowed three runs over six innings. Horton struck out one, walked one and gave up nine hits.

Jake Hein was charged with his sixth loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked four and struck out three.
