The Weyburn Beavers (20-24) beat the Melville Millionaires (15-30) 6-5 on Tuesday at Tom Laing Park behind Scott Fabre, who collected three hits.

Cesar Catibayan paced the Melville Millionaires at the plate. Catibayan went 3-4 and scored one run. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fourth and sixth innings.

Matthew Kinney recorded his third win of the year for the Weyburn Beavers. He allowed one run over 1 2/3 innings. He struck out four, walked none and surrendered two hits.

Andrew Hightower ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
