Eros Modena had two extra base hits as the Swift Current Indians (27-18) took home an 8-3 victory over the Moose Jaw Miller Express (24-21) at Ross Wells Park on Tuesday.

He doubled in the first and third innings and singled in the fourth inning.

Sean Callegari pitched lights out for the Swift Current Indians. The Moose Jaw Miller Express managed just two hits off of Callegari, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his three innings of work.

The Moose Jaw Miller Express were led by Aidan Stinnett's hitting. Stinnett went 2-4 and scored two runs. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Connor Harris got the win, running his season record to 2-1. He allowed two runs over three innings. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered five hits.

Jason Renner was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed five runs.

Josh Johnson, Taylor Steen, Modena and Justin Lee helped lead the Swift Current Indians. They combined for 10 hits and three RBIs.
