The bats were busy at Pirie Field on Monday, and when the dust cleared the Moose Jaw Miller Express (24-20) had an 18-9 win over the Melville Millionaires (15-29).

The teams totaled 31 hits in the game.

The Moose Jaw Miller Express left no doubt in the outcome with six runs in the ninth. The Moose Jaw Miller Express scored in the ninth on , an RBI single by Brady Rogers, a sacrifice fly by Danny Lokesak, a two-run triple by Austin Russell, and an RBI double by Aidan Stinnett.

Ben Douglas went a perfect 5-5 at the plate for the Moose Jaw Miller Express. He singled in the second, fourth, sixth, seventh, and ninth innings.

The Melville Millionaires had no answer for Drew Danzeisen, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Danzeisen held the Melville Millionaires hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two.

Josh Janzen got his fourth win for the Moose Jaw Miller Express despite allowing nine runs over six innings. Janzen struck out two, walked three and gave up 11 hits.

Trey Marker (1-4) took the loss for the Melville Millionaires. He allowed six runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out five.
