The Swift Current Indians (24-18) pounded the Melville Millionaires (15-28) on Saturday 10-4 at Mitchell Field.

Josh Johnson was hot from the plate for the Swift Current Indians. Johnson went 3-4 and scored three runs. He singled in the first, fifth, and sixth innings.

The Swift Current Indians got the win thanks in large part to Steve Thompson's dominant, 11-strikeout performance. Thompson allowed no earned runs, five hits and one walk over seven innings.

Blake Evetts reached base three times in the game for the Melville Millionaires. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the eighth inning.

Andrew Hightower (0-3) took the loss for the Melville Millionaires. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
