The Yorkton Cardinals (18-22) beat the Swift Current Indians (23-17) 10-3 on Wednesday thanks to a five-run seventh inning.

The Yorkton Cardinals scored in the seventh on a solo home run by Zach Mihic, a fielder's choice, a two-run error, an RBI single by Stetson McCollin, and a single by Ben Grillo.

McCollin racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Yorkton Cardinals.

The Yorkton Cardinals relied on Cole Roark to eat up innings en route to the win. Roark pitched eight innings and allowed one earned run, five hits and three walks while striking out six.

Sean Callegari was effective even in defeat, mowing down eight the Yorkton Cardinals batters and allowing one run.

Reilly Grose (2-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
