The Melville Millionaires (14-23) used a four-run explosion in the seventh inning to get past the Weyburn Beavers (16-22) 8-2 on Sunday at Tom Laing Park.

The Melville Millionaires scored in the seventh on an RBI single by Blake Evetts, a two-run triple by Tanner Houston, and an RBI single by Tyler Enns.

Zach Holley was hot from the plate for the Melville Millionaires. Holley went 3-4 and scored three runs. He doubled in the first innings and singled in the third and seventh innings.

The Melville Millionaires relied on Steven Bunnell to eat up innings en route to the win. Bunnell pitched nine innings and allowed two earned runs, nine hits and two walks while striking out five.

Despite the loss, the Weyburn Beavers' Manny Perdomo dominated the Melville Millionaires' batters, giving up two runs and striking out eight.

Houston Creighton (0-2) took the loss for the Weyburn Beavers. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
