The Medicine Hat Mavericks (22-16) and the Swift Current Indians (23-16) each put runners in scoring position on Saturday, but the Medicine Hat Mavericks capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 7-6 win at Athletic Park.

Devin Johnson racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Medicine Hat Mavericks. He singled in the first and sixth innings and homered in the eighth inning.

Eros Modena racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Swift Current Indians. He singled in the fourth inning.

Myles Richards got the win, running his season record to 5-2. He allowed one run over 1 1/3 innings. Richards struck out none, walked none and gave up four hits.

Chad Kim was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
