Monday was a great day for Steve Thompson, as Thompson threw seven scoreless innings to carry the Swift Current Indians (21-13) to a 5-1 victory over the Lethbridge Bulls (23-11) at Mitchell Field.

Hunter Owen racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Swift Current Indians. He homered in the fourth innings.

Nolan Bumstead (0-1) took the loss for the Lethbridge Bulls. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed three runs.
