The Yorkton Cardinals (11-17) built an early edge on Saturday, but the Swift Current Indians (19-13) roared back to steal a 9-4 victory at Jubilee Park.

While the Yorkton Cardinals led until the eighth inning, the Swift Current Indians worked their way back and took the lead on an RBI single by Taylor Steen.

Hunter Owen had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the first and ninth innings.

Robbie DeVries had an impressive outing against the Yorkton Cardinals' lineup. DeVries held the Yorkton Cardinals hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four.

Austin Drummonds reached base two times in the game for the Yorkton Cardinals. He scored one run and had one RBI. He tripled in the first inning.

Marc-Andre Habeck recorded his third win of the year for the Swift Current Indians. He allowed four runs over seven innings. He struck out two, walked three and surrendered six hits.

Jamie Whitehead (2-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in eight innings, walked three and struck out five.

The Swift Current Indians' Steen, Owen, Matt Spillman and Justin Lee combined for nine hits and four RBIs.
