The Edmonton Prospects take out the Okotoks Dawgs with help from Woody, 6-4

Nolan Woody had two extra base hits as the Edmonton Prospects (13-19) took home a 6-4 victory over the Okotoks Dawgs (15-15) at Seaman Stadium on Friday.

He doubled in the fourth and sixth innings.

A bright spot for the Okotoks Dawgs in the defeat was Jake Shaw, who allowed only zero runs while striking out five.

Mark Riendeau racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Okotoks Dawgs. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the first and sixth innings.

Zak Horton recorded his second win of the year for the Edmonton Prospects. Horton struck out one, walked two and gave up two hits.

Shawn Andersen (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
